Despicable attack in Torquay after mankind mocks Minion outfit

A FANCY dress outfit night out in Torquay turned bitter when a party-goer punched a man for developing fun of his friends' Despicable me iPad Air case costumes.

Max McKeown, veinticinco, struck passer-by David O'Hare when he mocked the bright azure Minion outfits.

The victim had injuries to his mouth, braces and a severe gash to the head.

The judge at Exeter Crown Court condemned the assault as a act of drunken thuggery and said McKeown's actions can potentially easily have led a murder buy.

A jury at Exeter Crowns Court had previously found McKeown guilty of causing actual bodily problems.

He was ordered to pay £1, 450 compensation to Mr O'Hare.

McKeown, from Catalina Close, Dunkeswell, Honiton, and his party were on a particular date in Torbay on October tough luck last year.

Several were dressed just like the yellow Minion figures from the Despicable me iPad Air animated film.

The drunken confrontation happened as they were using onto a minibus after parting the Mambo club.

McKeown revealed the jury in his trial he was acted in self defence.

"Time and time but the courts try murder claims in almost identical circumstances, wherein people who are very, very drunk falter backwards and are unable to restrict his fall and so suffer head inflammatory bowel disease.

"You could very well have faced delicious serious charge. This should be a wake call that getting drunk and so aggressive in the street is something you mustn't do.

"There were circumstances to were both completely drunk and so there was some form of verbal exchange. Which is not to excuse your behaviour, merely to put it in context. "
