The application deadline of Friday, May 17, is fast approaching intended for candidates to compete for the proposes of Clay County Fair Cal king.
The winner, to be crowned Tuesday, May 10, will reign beyond this year's Clay County Light, and will also compete for the State Light Queen title. The crowning will be held at at the Clay County Regional Celebrations Center.
Females between the ages out of 16 and 21 by August. 13, the first day of the 2015 Austin, texas State Fair, may apply. People must have never been married, must've no children, cannot be a professional structure, cannot represent any other organization, not to mention must reside in Clay County plus an adjoining county if the tastes her activities are in Clay State. Applicants must be a member of one service organization such as 4-H, Idol Scouts or a church group. Qualifications is not limited to 4-H or FFA membership.
The queen will also get many prizes, including $1, 500 cash from Community State Banking firm and Insurance; a Vera Bradley wholesale tote bag from the Hen Domicile; a diamond necklace from Avon; personal care sessions from Plan Masters; a pearl necklace based in Nelson Jewelry; $200 cash based in Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative; the state run fair queen photo from Quattlebaum Photography; a $100 gift déclaration from Elegance Bridal and Promenade Boutique; a one-hour massage based in Family Wellness Massage; a getting brownish naturally package from Royal Tan; fifty bucks cash for travel expenses based in H & N Chevrolet-Buick; an actual three-month membership to the Spencer Bloodline YMCA; $50 ethanol gift card based in Clay County Farm Bureau; an actual teeth whitening tray from Suv Hofwegen & Munter Family Orthodontics; a dozen roses from Hy-Vee; using a cap from Creative Stitches out of Emmetsburg.
The first runner-up also gets many prizes including $500 cash money from Community State Bank not to mention Insurance; a diamond necklace based in Avon; a Vera Bradley cases carry bag from the Hen House; an actual one-hour massage from Family Well getting Massage; and a tanning package based in Royal Tan.
All contestants will get a mark gift package based in Avon; a tote bag based in Weaver's of Algona; a single base rose from Hy-Vee; and a limit from Creative Stitches of Emmetsburg.
Contestants may pick up an application utilizing school counselor, the Clay State Fair Administration Building, or via the web at www.claycountyfair.com. The application must be handed in to the Clay County Fair Cal king Contest, PO Box 527, Gradzino, IA 51301 or emailed if you want to info@claycountyfair. com on or sooner than April 17. A committee can then select the finalists who will compete for one's title on Sunday, May seven.
