"These lines aren't religious anymore. We used to be the only who carried them. Now they're the only thing online, " Pettis said.

Diederich, a former certified public accountant, and Pettis, an ex paralegal, bought Hidden Gate Giving gifts in 2009 from previous owners. They both friends did it to get away from their stand jobs, do something different and explore personal creativity. They wanted to make people glad.

"We found this little surprise shop and we thought it was a real gem and we purchased it, " Diederich said.

The store has a tentative securing date of May 31. Many of merchandise is now 30 percent off.
